eGraduEng: 1. Fill out the form for electronic publication of your thesis

Give the metadata of your thesis in Doria (according to ES 43 §)

Log into the Doria database and choose language in the right hand corner. Click "Åbo Akademi login".

Type of thesis:
Välj typ av arbete och det ämnSelect the right collection (Åbo Akademi University/Master’s and Licentiate Theses/field of science subject)
Start the feeding by clicking “Next”.

Publishing agreement: When feeding the metadata,choose the option for electronic publication of your preference:

• I give my permission for the publication of my thesis in Åbo Akademi University's publication archives. (The thesis will be openly available to read on the Internet via the ÅAU publication archives, placed under Doria, the multi-institutional repository maintained by National Library of Finland).
• The thesis includes classified information. The thesis is published in Åbo Akademi University's repository WITHOUT the appendix with classified information. (You need to apply for confidentiality to the dean, this may be needed if you have written your thesis for a company or your results will be published in a journal).
• I do not accept the publishing of my thesis in the repository of Åbo Akademi University but it can be studied at Åbo Akademi University Library

NB! If you do not want your thesis to be published in Doria (then only the metadata will be published):

• Choose here the collection “Theses with restricted access”,
• and later, when choosing the option for electronic publication, choose the alternative “I do not accept the publishing of my thesis in the repository of Åbo Akademi University but it can be studied at Åbo Akademi University Library”.

NB! Do NOT upload your thesis to Doria at this stage. Åbo Akademi Univeristy Library will upload your thesis after it has been assessed.

If there are co-authors to the thesis, you should all sign the form separately.

Åbo Akademi University Library will contact the student if complements to the form are needed or if the thesis is not saved in the correct format (PDF/A).
Åbo Akademi University Library will publish a version of the thesis, which has passed language revision and after it has been assessed. The thesis is published in accordance with the information given by the student in filling out the Doria form.
