Confidential data

There are data that may contain sensitive information of various kinds:
- Data that is a trade secret (e.g. innovations that may be patentable)
- Data covered by confidentiality agreements
- Confidential information such as data from the Finnish Armed Forces or those with biosecurity aspects
- Biodiversity information about sensitive species data, for example information on endangered animals and plants, nature conservation or biosecurity - Read more at Laji.fi.

Confidential data requires the same kind of extra care as personal data. You need to be extra careful about how you store, share, and use it.
