Information about individual arrangements in EXAM

The room for special arrangements (in EXAM called “erityistenttitila”) is located in Publicum, on the fourth floor, room Pub418.

The room is intended only for students who have a recommendation for individual arrangements that require a separate room. Such arrangements may include, for example, the possibility to take the exam in a quiet room or the need for an assistant during the exam. The student must inform the teacher about the need for individual arrangements no later than at the start of the course (for self-study courses, at the time of course registration).

⇒ If your teacher has granted you permission to have an assistant or to visit the restroom during the exam, please inform exam@utu.fi in advance.

⇒ If you have an illness or other condition that requires you to bring medication, food, or drink, please inform exam@utu.fi in advance.

Individual arrangements that do NOT require booking the room for special arrangements:

  • Extended exam time (the exam can be taken in a regular EXAM room)

  • Accessible workstation (wheelchair-accessible stations are available in Agora, Aurum, and Teutori. Book a wheelchair-accessible workstation by selecting in Step 2: “Accessibility requirements” > “Esteetön kulku / unobstructed access to the room”)

  • The need to bring, for example, medication, food, or drink (the exam can be taken in a regular EXAM room, but please inform exam@utu.fi in advance what you will bring and why)
